Rainbow Run 2025

Hi, I'm taking part in Rainbow Run on Saturday 7th June to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice

St Wilfrid’s Hospice (Eastbourne) provides high-quality care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield - and all points in between.

To help me raise vital funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, please consider donating to my Rainbow Run fundraising page.

The funds raised will help the hospice to protect their services, and ensure people in the community are able to continue receiving their care, at a time when they need it most.

My Updates

Becoming a runner.

Wednesday 21st May
A year ago I thought I would never run again. My hips hurt just to walk after having 3 kids. Slowly over time and losing weight they got easier, and after seeing my brother do a marathon, I thought I'll just try and see if I can.
I started a very slow process with a couch to 5K, and very very slowly tiptoed into running becoming part of a routine. I still don't go far, it's nowhere near a marathon, but 5K's are now part of semi-regular routine.
I've been gaining strength slowly over time with revive health and fitness too, and feel stronger than ever before. So it makes sense for my first charity race (in a very long time) to be alongside the revive team.
5K isn't a big deal to some, but it is to me. The revive fitness community is a big deal to me. And there are not much worthies charities than St Wilfrid’s who shouldn't be relying on charity but are, and doing a terrific job at looking after the most vulnerable in our community.
