Rainbow Run 2026

Hi, I'm taking part in Rainbow Run on Saturday 6th June to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points in between) with life-limiting illnesses.

The hospice's expert teams support the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and practical needs of patients, and their families and carers. This is in the hospice building, in patients’ own homes and in local care homes.

At a time when running costs are higher than the hospice's income, our support is more important than ever. Less than 30% of the funds needed to provide the hospice's services comes from the NHS – meaning they count on the community to help with funding the rest.

Every donation helps to provide vital end of life care for local people, so please do consider donating to my Rainbow Run fundraising page.

A Colourful Family Challenge for an Incredible Cause

This year, my daughters, Arwyn and Wynter, and I are proudly taking part in the St Wilfrid’s Hospice Colour Run 2026, raising money for a charity that does so much for our local community.

For Arwyn and me, this will be our third year taking part in this amazing event. Over the past two years, we’ve run, laughed, been covered head to toe in colour, and crossed the finish line knowing we were helping to support a truly worthwhile cause. The atmosphere is always incredible, bringing together people of all ages to make a difference while having fun.

This year, however, is going to be even more special.

For Wynter, this will be her very first Colour Run, and she will be taking on the full 5K course. This is a huge milestone for her, and as her mum, I couldn’t be prouder. Watching her grow in confidence and prepare for this challenge has been wonderful to see. Completing a 5K is a fantastic achievement, and sharing that moment together as a family will make this year’s event one we’ll never forget.

We’re not just running for ourselves; we’re running for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

The hospice provides outstanding care, support, and compassion to individuals and families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. Their work touches countless lives within our community, offering comfort, dignity, and practical support when it is needed most. The care they provide is invaluable, and events like the Colour Run help ensure they can continue their vital work.

Every step we take, every splash of colour, and every mile completed is in support of the incredible people who rely on St Wilfrid’s Hospice and the dedicated staff and volunteers who make such a difference every day.

For me, this event is about more than completing a run. It’s about spending quality time with my daughters, creating lasting memories, encouraging them to challenge themselves, and showing them the importance of giving back to the community. Seeing Arwyn return for her third year and watching Wynter take on her first 5K reminds me how special these shared experiences can be.

As we stand on the starting line together in 2026, we’ll be running with smiles on our faces, colour in the air, and a shared goal in our hearts: to raise as much money as possible for an incredible local charity.

Thank you to everyone who supports us, donates, shares our fundraising page, or simply cheers us on. Your encouragement means the world to us.

Here’s to another colourful adventure, and to celebrating Wynter’s first-ever 5K finish alongside Arwyn and me.

Thank you for helping us support St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
