Rainbow Run 2026

Hi, I'm taking part in Rainbow Run on Saturday 6th June to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points in between) with life-limiting illnesses.

The hospice's expert teams support the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and practical needs of patients, and their families and carers. This is in the hospice building, in patients’ own homes and in local care homes.

At a time when running costs are higher than the hospice's income, our support is more important than ever. Less than 30% of the funds needed to provide the hospice's services comes from the NHS – meaning they count on the community to help with funding the rest.

Every donation helps to provide vital end of life care for local people, so please do consider donating to my Rainbow Run fundraising page.

🌈Back for the Rainbow Run 2026 – This Time We Run Together🌈

Wednesday 11th Feb
Last year, Amelia took on the Rainbow Run 5K for St Wilfrid’s Hospice… and she absolutely smashed it.

She ran her heart out, showed real determination, and made us all incredibly proud. Watching her push through and finish strong genuinely inspired me.

So this year, on 6th June 2026, I’m not standing on the sidelines.

I’m running it with her.

We’re taking on the 5K cross-country together to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, who provide outstanding care and support to people and families facing life-limiting illness in our community.

The hospice relies heavily on fundraising to continue their vital work — offering dignity, compassion and support when it matters most.

Amelia will be 7 this year, and although she already swims and does gymnastics, running 5K across hills and grass is still a real challenge. We’ve started training together — windy paths, muddy trails, steady jogs — building up week by week.

For Amelia, this is about:

Building confidence

Showing resilience

Doing something meaningful

For me, it’s about:

Being a good role model

Getting fitter and stronger

Sharing a goal with my daughter

Most importantly, it’s about raising as much as we can for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it genuinely makes a difference. Your support will carry us through the tough training days and help the hospice continue its incredible work.

Last year Amelia made me proud.

This year, we’re doing it side by side.

Thank you for supporting us 🌈💛
