Hi, I'm taking part in Rainbow Run on Saturday 7th June to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice
St Wilfrid’s Hospice (Eastbourne) provides high-quality care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield - and all points in between.
To help me raise vital funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, please consider donating to my Rainbow Run fundraising page.

Our Reason
Tuesday 4th Feb In November 2022 my late husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer and was told he needed surgery. He had a bowel resection on the 28th December 2022. Subsequent tests revealed that pre surgery his cancer had spread to his lymph nodes, and his liver. Ash had 3 rounds of various types of chemotherapy, and some radiotherapy. Unfortunately Ash’s cancer proved to be too aggressive and on the 9th September 2023 he lost his battle leaving myself and my 2 young children to navigate a new normal without him. In his final weeks, St Wilfrids were there to provide round the clock care and support for both Ash and myself, along with our kids and close family. They arranged a hospital bed for Ash so that he could be comfortable at home surrounded by familiarity and family. They have also provided counselling sessions for myself and my daughter (now 9) and soon will be providing these sessions to my son (almost 6).Thank you to my Sponsors
