Hi, I'm taking part in St Wilfrid’s Hospice’s Starlight Stroll. I’m walking in memory of my lovely dad Terry Saunders.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points between) with life-limiting illnesses, and any money raised will allow them to continue to provide this to the community.

Just had a lovely evening on the Starlight Stroll. Hopefully lots of money was raised for St Wilfrid’s 🤞💕

Saturday 14th Sep
Team Jones is ready for the stroll later on today. We have our lanterns and our t- shirts and are raring to go ! It looks as if the weather is going to be kind to us again. Thanks to everyone’s kindness and generosity we have exceeded our team target of £400 and have managed to raise nearer £500 which is amazing! We will remember my dad,Terry, my mother in law,Wendy, Ellemay’s grandad,Pete, and also my very dear friend Joanne Masson who left us far too soon during lockdown. We love and miss you all and will be searching the sky for your stars tonight 💕

My lantern this year is dedicated to my lovely dad on one side and on the other, my mother in law Wendy, who sadly passed away in January. We miss them every day.

It’s the day before the stroll and I’ve decorated my lantern ready to lay in the Italian Gardens. It’s always a beautiful, but emotional part of the stroll

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who has very generously sponsored us and donated to the Starlight Stroll. We set ourselves a target of £400 and our online donations added to the donations we have on our paper sponsor forms means that we are very nearly there ! When gift aid is added we’ve exceeded our target. Thank you so much 🥰
