Sephy, Maia and Eden are taking part in Rainbow Run on Saturday 6th June to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice

As part of our ‘Kindness in Action’ project at school we have chosen to take part in the Rainbow Run and raise money for St Wilfred’s Hospice.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points in between) with life-limiting illnesses.

The hospice's expert teams support the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and practical needs of patients, and their families and carers. This is in the hospice building, in patients’ own homes and in local care homes.

At a time when running costs are higher than the hospice's income, our support is more important than ever. Less than 30% of the funds needed to provide the hospice's services comes from the NHS – meaning they count on the community to help with funding the rest.
