Where does the Expo take place?

The Expo takes place at The East Sussex National which is located just off the A22. Postcode is TN22 5ES.

Can I get to the expo by public transport?

Train
The nearest train station is Uckfield
. From there we recommend taking a taxi, which costs approximately £12–£15.


Bus
There are buses that will take you to Uckfield train station from a variety of nearby towns. From there we recommend taking a taxi, which costs around £12 to £15

Stagecoach bus route 54A operates a direct route between Eastbourne and Uckfield.

Brighton and Hove buses route 29/29A passes through Brighton, Moulsecoomb, Falmer, Lewes, Isfield and Uckfield, as well as Heathfield and Blackboys. 

We strongly advise you to plan your travel in advance.

Is parking available?

400 standard car parking spaces are available on site. In addition there are 20 disabled spaces located outside the front of the hotel and 11 EV charger spaces available at an additional cost.

Bookings will need to be made directly through the hotel for EV charger use.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, parking is free of charge.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

There is step-free access into and around the hotel, with lift access to the first floor.

There are 20 disabled parking spaces available in the car park.

Can I stay overnight?

What time does the event start and finish?

The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm each day. 

How long does each Clinical Skills Workshop last?

2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the workshop

How many workshops can I attend?

When purchasing a day ticket, we will offer a minimum of one workshop per person per day. You will be asked your order of priority when booking your ticket.

Any remaining spaces for workshops will be communicated on arrival, and you will be able to book another workshop should you wish. This will be on a first-come first-served basis.

Will I receive a certificate for attending?

You will receive a certificate of attendance if you book to attend a whole day.

Some of the Clinical Skills Workshops will have their own CPD accredited certificates for their individual content.

Is lunch included in my ticket?

Day tickets
Yes, if you purchase a day ticket refreshments and lunch will be included.

Exhibition hall tickets
No, lunch is not included for anyone attending the exhibition hall only.

Stallholders
For Gold and Platinum stallholders, lunch for two people will be delivered to your stall. For Silver and Bronze stallholders you will be able to order and pay for lunch on the day if you wish. 

How are you funding the Expo?

The event has been funded by a generous donor of St Wilfrid's Hospice who has set up the Kerry Fund to support the education of healthcare professionals. Our wonderful sponsors are also funding the costs of putting on this event, meaning that any money raised through ticket sale will go back to the hospice to support vital end of life care locally.
