Fire Walk 2026

I'm taking on the flames for St Wilfrid's Hospice!

On Saturday the 28th of March, I'm walking barefoot along three metres of red hot embers, to raise money for local hospice care, and would really appreciate if you could sponsor me.

St Wilfrid's Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Healthfield, and all points between, with life-limiting illnesses. Support is offered at the hospice, in patients' own homes, and in care homes. Over 70% of the funds to provide these services come from voluntary donations. Please help me continue to support this cause.

Im doing this challenge in the memory of my mother Johanna Bentley. She passed away in the original Hospice in Watts Lane in 1989. It was a beautiful peaceful place, with kind ,caring staff & Volunteers  who were always on hand for support help or just a chat, and as soon as you turned up to visit a pot of Tea and a coke was produced.
I became a vounteer, in the fundraising team and was part of the team who did a big Garden Fete in Seaford.
Last year my daughter and grandaughter did the colour run.
So I thought what the heck when I saw the post for the firewalk and though yes i'de have a go. X
