I'm taking on the flames for St Wilfrid's Hospice!
In 2017, my Nan, Fran Randall, was cared for in St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne. Then, this January 2026, my Grandpa, Keith Bray, was also cared for at St Wilf's. The care provided at St Wilf's both times was fantastic, for my Nan and Grandpa but also for their loved ones. As a family, we felt so much better knowing that our family members were in such safe, kind, caring hands during their last days. St Wilfrid's Hospice also organised the funding for my Grandad to go into a nursing home towards the end of his life. So this great charity has helped my family 3 times over.
On Saturday the 28th of March, I'm walking barefoot along three metres of red hot embers, to raise money for local hospice care. St Wilf's (and all forms of hospice care) is so so important but is also so so underfunded. So all sponsorship for this event is greatly appreciated 🙌🏼
St Wilfrid's Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Healthfield, and all points between, with life-limiting illnesses. Support is offered at the hospice, in patients' own homes, and in care homes. Over 70% of the funds to provide these services come from voluntary donations. Please help me continue to support this cause.
