Hi, I'm taking part in St Wilfrid’s Hospice’s Starlight Stroll

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points between) with life-limiting illnesses, and any money raised will allow them to continue to provide this to the community.

The 14th of September will forever be a very difficult date in my life and that of my family. It was on this hot day in 2018 that my dearest brother Martyn had his terminal diagnosis of esophageal cancer with a phone call home to his family in Wolverhampton saying 'I'm sorry, but there is no coming back from this for me.' 
He went into St Wilfrid's Hospice by the end of the September, his choice as he had three young boys at home ( 8, 6 and 18 months) at the time and he did not want them to be frightened of the hosptial bed, medication, morphine driver , the list is endless. This was all attended to and cared for by St Wilfrids and since his death in November 2018 we have tried to support the Hospice as much as we can.
