Camino 2027 - Week 1

Trekking from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela, following the centuries old paths of pilgrims in support of St Wilfrid's Hospice

Hi, my name is Phoebe, my lovely mother, Theresa, spent her last days on earth at our local hospice, at peace, being cared for with dignity and kindness, a rose garden outside her bedroom window. Palliative care is so important at end of life for us all, and Hospices do it best. So I am taking up the challenge of trekking 120Km on the Camino de Santiago in April 2027 to raise funds to support this wonderful place.  Hospice care  played such a hugely important role for my family, by enabling my mother's last days to be the best they could be. 100% of all donations, or sponsorships, will go to direct to St Wilfrid's. THANK YOU!

St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) provides high-quality care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield, and all points in between.
To help me raise vital funds for the hospice, please consider donating to my Camino 2027 fundraising page.

The funds raised will help the hospice to protect their services, and ensure people in the community are able to continue receiving their care, at a time when they need it most.
Thank you.
