Hi, I'm taking part in St Wilfrid’s Hospice’s Starlight Stroll

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides high-quality care and support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points between) with life-limiting illnesses, and any money raised will allow them to continue to provide this to the community.

The day before …

Friday 12th Sep
We are all overwhelmed with how generous all my friends & family have been … thank you. 

One of the hardest things i’m finding is that the things we love to do, cant be shared with the person who would be most proud of us..

Tomorrow will be a day to remember the most loving family man I know.

Gosh, I miss you Dad. X

This is all so raw losing my Dad only on the 18th July … 

As a family we couldn’t be more grateful for the support & compassion shown by all the lovely team at St Wilfrids both while Dad was poorly for so long, but also supporting us should we need it now.

As you are aware I have been raising money with your help for local charities for years, through our match giving scheme at work … now it’s again time to ask for your support, but this time in a personal capacity. 

I will be doing the normal hamper raffle, sweet cones & dog treats at work, but this ask is for both our family Starlight walk & for my 10k run (fingers crossed training goes well)

I thought this the most apt thing to do especially as Dad was bed bound for the past 6 months & mobility was limited previously … walking/running is such a privilege.
