I'm trekking the Camino!

I'm trekking from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela, following the centuries old paths of pilgrims in support of St Wilfrid's Hospice

I am taking on part of the Pilgrimage of the Camino in Spain next year. We will be walking the last 115km of the trek into Santiago over 5 days. This is very different to the Sahara Trek and a multiday walk like this is something I have never attempted before so I am a bit daunted by the distance.

Again I am doing this in memory of my beautiful husband Andy who was cared for by St. Wilfrid's Hospice. Hospices are facing tough times and many are having to make cuts to services. This is not sustainable and personally I couldn't bear to see hospices close as hospitals cannot compare to the care and services of a hospice.

I will be doing a range of fundraising events throughout the year as I am dedicated to raising funds or St Wilfrid's. Please be assured that any money you donate will go straight to the hospice as I will again be covering all my own costs.

If you are able to spare any amount it will be very much appreciated by myself and the hospice.

St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) provides high-quality care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield, and all points in between.

The funds raised will help the hospice to protect their services, and ensure people in the community are able to continue receiving their care, at a time when they need it most.
