Anita and Amy's Big Jump

By Anita Constantine

Anita and Amy's skydive for St Wilfrid's Hospice

Neil Armstrong once said, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He wasn't, however, about to plummet 12,000ft towards the earth while screaming. We are.

So we're renaming this: "One amazing man, one fantastic cause, one slightly drunken decision". We're standing by it, though, as we know that Ray (Anita's amazing stepdad), Barbara (Amy's amazing mum) and Martyn (a fabulous ex-PRG colleague) would have found nothing but amusement in our trepidation (mild panic).

We're jumping out of a plane on the 25th May 2026 for an incredible cause: St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne! St Wilfrid's provides vital palliative care across East Sussex and relies on public donations for 70% of their funding. They helped both of us nurse our parents when they needed it most, and they are currently in desperate need of community support.

Anita isn't a big fan of heights.  Amy isn't keen on the jump part... or the falling part. She's mostly worried she'll hit the earth like an asteroid. So please dig deep to give us the bravery to do this!

Big thanks from us.
