Help me reach my goal of £2,800

I have chosen to raise money and support St Wilfrid's which is a local hospice located in Eastbourne but looking after 245,000 people in the south east.


I'll be walking 100 kms of the French route of the Camino in Galicia in Spain in April 2027. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and doing it for a cause that means so much makes it even more important to me.
I'm doing this challenge in memory of my Mum and Dad and my 60th year on the planet.
St Wilfrid's does amazing work supporting people and their families during incredibly tough times. The care, kindness, and comfort they offer genuinely changes lives, and they rely on fundraising to keep doing what they do.
We will be starting with three walks of one hour per week and working up to doing multiple days of walking; as we will be doing five days in a row on the challenge ranging from 5.5 hours to 7 hours walking per day.
I have a year to raise the sponsorship money and I'd love your support as I take on this challenge. 
Every donation, big or small helps St Wilfrid's continue their extraordinary work.
Just to give you an idea £60 will supply meals for a patient for a day;  £79 will run a community car for a day;  £117 will supply a Healthcare Assistant for a day.
I'll be walking with a lot of gratitude, a lot of determination and probably some sore feet, but it'll be worth every step.

Camino walk for St Wilf's 2027

In 2027, I’m taking on a big challenge: walking 100 km of the Camino in Galicia to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and doing it for a cause that means so much makes it even more important.

St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) provides high-quality care and support for people with a life-limiting illness, across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield, and all points in between.
